So if L0 buys Stargate for $110m in ZRO, this is an obvious short, right?
The existing circulating market cap of ZRO is only $232m. What happens if even 5% of that ZRO gets sold? Which surely that’s unrealistically optimistic to think 95% will diamond hand vs realize an exit?

Just a reminder that lower fed funds rate would be bad for stablecoin issuers, who rely on the yield from short duration treasuries.

People talk about degeneracy in crypto, but in archaeology, I remember seeing more than one impromptu rap battle by hillbillies behind a dumpster at a hotel in Bumblefuck, USA while everyone chugged Mad Dog 20/20

The most entertaining outcome would be tokenizing the stocks of DATs, having them trade at a premium to offchain, the offchain trading at a premium onchain NAV, and then borrowing onchain to buy offchain to mint more tokenized stock and repeating.
Dangerous but entertaining!

You know it’s just the natural order of things, but it’s been fascinating to watch DeFi underwriting standards just inch down bit by bit over time. I think it is generals prepping for the last battle (oracle manipulation, exploits in counterparties) and not the next one

I have a share in a company with $100/share in it. The assets can never be distributed, but you can buy or sell the company shares. The company may acquire more money per share, but remember the shares cannot ever receive a distribution.

Plus the C-suite disclosing a lot of sales in Aug 5 filings. I think both are smart bc the stock is so overvalued, even at the IPO price.

An overlooked lesson in the stablecoin-chain bubble is that other chains should be working hard to raise local champions so the fate of their economy isn’t in the hands of a a competing chain operator.

The best test of whether feel financially secure is if you leave the found penny for the next person (even though it was already heads up, since tails is bad luck and you should flip it to heads for the next person)

At what point does some L2, realizing they can’t operate at a loss forever, swap all the UDSC/T for their own branded stablecoin to capture the fees? It could be done safely, but responsible execution is everything

Circle on Odd Lots fumbling over what their competitive advantage is. They really need to come up with a better answer than buzzwords like flywheel or developer platforms. Also unsure shilling Hashnote while its supply is moving towards 0 with haste demonstrates domain competency

Back in the day, if you did a project called Scam Dracula, you’d see that fool rugging degens every week. But in the current era, the first liquidity mining campaign is spent getting degens overinvested. Finally you see the rug 12-24 months in when someone reads the TOS
